Artist Relations, City Curator (LA / Nashville / Brooklyn) 

At Blast Radio we’re on a mission to help artists be heard and fans listen together. We’re building a decentralized radio platform where anyone can become a broadcaster by simply pressing one button.

We’re looking for passionate locals to be the face of Blast Radio in select markets. You will help us navigate the community, build relationships (artists, venues, organizations), and spread the word about Blast Radio to onboard broadcasters and listeners to the platform.  

Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute a strategy to evangelize Blast Radio and onboard members of the community
  • Be a liaison between Blast Radio HQ teams and local artists, venues, organizations
  • Continue being a resource to answer questions and give advice on the best way we can support members of the local music and arts scene

Ideal experience:

  • Must be an active member of the community in some demonstrable capacity
  • Must have existing relationships and be open to evangelizing Blast Radio
  • Knowledge of music as either a fan or artist yourself

Compensation includes equity package.

Generalist Marketer and Social Media Coordinator

At Blast Radio we’re on a mission to help artists be heard and fans listen together. We’re building a decentralized radio platform where anyone can become a broadcaster by simply pressing one button.

We’re looking for a generalist marketer to join our marketing and artist relations team. The ideal candidate will have very strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize, and comfort handling a wide variety of day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook)
  • Light graphic design using brand-approved templates
  • Join artist meetings and help facilitate co-marketing initiatives
  • Serve as liaison between Blast Radio marketing and artists / their teams
  • Oversee featured broadcast calendar and assist with facilitation
  • Manage featured broadcast calendar on Blast Radio website
  • Manage database of artists and associated marketing assets
  • Some copywriting
  • Assist on a variety of ad hoc projects and tasks

Candidate should have:

  • Proven track record of multitasking, project and time management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced and ever changing environment
  • Knowledge of and passion for music as either a fan or artist
  • Excitement to work at a startup with a big mission and lofty goals
  • No ego and love of collaboration
